This may be the last entry on this blog since I don’t like this one too much. Andrea is going to be taking pictures soon so I will update with pictures when she is done editing. I am going to update the pictures on our new blog.

The oxygen concentrator arrived Monday!! I got to torch a good amount the past few days, yesterday I made 11 pendants! We also have the wood stove going now so it is quite a bit warmer in the studio. Once we get some wood for it in the morning back to more torching I am hoping for 15-25 pendants tomorrow. I’ll probably shoot for 15 more than 25 just because I want to try a few new pendants. I will post pictures probably Sunday.

I also tried my first murrini marble! We bought a bunch of different murrini last year and never ended up using them. I tried making a turtle in a vortex. Then dropped it 3 times, first marble in a while with nothing good to grab it when I’m finished. The marble has a big surface crack I then tried another right after but that ended up cracking when I put the murrini on Anywho I have one more try with a turtle murrini and then it will have to be a butterfly or something else. Next try hopefully will work out, I think I know what I was doing wrong.

This weekend I will probably design a chess set to make and work on finishing that sometime January. We don’t have a chess set here so I figured I could make a simple one for us. I know the color for one side, it is the same color as the chess looking piece with an eye that I made at the Pipyr class. Not sure about the other color yet, maybe a lighter caramel color.

It has been 2 months since Andrea and I have torched together so that will be really nice to do in the next few days :) Also means figuring out what I still want to do with soft glass.

Our new concentrator should be in by the end of next week which means BORO!!! This concentrator was about half the price of the other one and a newer model :)

Hopefully I will be torching tomorrow EEEEEEE can’t wait!!!

My eyes feel so much better!!! My right eye feels almost back to normal and my left eye is getting there. This coming Friday will be the first time my eyes feel good while torching this whole year. I can’t wait to torch!!!! I have a list of ideas for christmas gifts for everyone Also some ideas of some abstract style beads that I will post next Saturday if any come out good.

I am not torching till next friday when my eyes should be 100% better AHHHHH!!! Won’t leave much time before Christmas. Andrea has been making lots of amazing focals in the meantime. Take a peak on the ebay site, we are listing a lot again, trying to stay over 50 auctions again. I will also be listing some macrame necklaces on the etsy site the next few days

We are planning on getting a puppy sometime early next year We found a breeder for mini dachshunds in Barnstead. They are expecting puppies to be ready march, april and may It is going to be ultra spoiled tons and tons of walks!!!!! ohhh I love walks!!!

My eyes are getting better, might wait a day or two more before torching since my left eye is still swollen. The first cyst was in January, been so long with these annoying things :/ I hope in 8 days they are gone for good.

There was a raccoon on the back porch! We haven’t seen one in so long.

We received our refund for the concentrator. Now we are going to order concentrator! from another site, cheaper too Two torches again!! and BORO!!! It will be the first time with boro since the class.

AHHHH it is almost 2AM, gotta go sleep.

I got back from the doctor not too long ago. They gave me ointment for the cysts and if in 10 days it is not better than I will be seeing the eye doctor. I used the ointment when I got back and it wasn’t too bad. It made my eyes blurry for about 10-15 seconds and then went away.

Sunday we went to Joanne’s Fabric since my eyes were hurting and couldn’t torch. The black friday sale was still happening so we ended up getting more fabric then we originally planned for. We were originally going to make hammocks, cuddle toys, and tubes for the chinchillas with fleece. The fleece was 1/3 off so we got some extra so we could have new pillows. We used to use Walmart ones. Last night was the first night trying the new pillow and my neck feels a lot better.

I am going to be designing a new cage for the chinchillas for when they can be put in the same cage together. It will have lots of ledges, with a hammock to catch them if they fall.

We signed up for secret santa on the lampwork etc. forum. So far two of our gifts arrived, a marble and a santa alligator The alligator is being turned into a necklace for her daughter Have a bunch more to send out this week. I can’t wait for next years when we are better prepared.

Once my eye feels better I am going to finish the tutorial, make a caterpillar of every color we have, new animals, and finish off all the sets I have put off. I’m excited to torch again!!
