Glassblowing Class

The first picture is the hot shop at Snow Farm that I took a weekend class at. A vase, shot glass and another paperweight will be mailed sometime soon.

And a turtle that was waiting for me at home in the kiln

1st- All of these will be turned into tealight holders over the next few days.

2nd- Maple leaf!

We are getting new supplies today! The maple leaf should come out better once we get the supplies.

There is a possibility that we are upgrading our kiln soon. The diameter will be 15″ and at least 5.5″ tall. More projects in one firing :)

On Saturday we added some of our glass at Works of Heart!

I just finished cutting out the rest of my first chessboard! It still needs a little more work before it will go into the kiln. Either this weekend or Monday it will go into the kiln.

I signed a contract earlier with Works of Heart (Milford) to sell some of my glass there Smile

1st- Coaster with an enamel peace sign. I might fire again to make the sign completely white and more symetrical.

2nd- More coasters!

3rd- First attempt at strip weaving. Next time I plan to make a larger one to turn into a tealight holder

4th- Picture taken before turned into a tealight holder

The first picture is a suncatcher that is located out my bedroom window. It is barely attached in the upper left corner Undecided The second is going to be either turned into a smaller candle holder or cut up for something else and the third is another candle holder.
