IT'S SNOWING!!! YAAAAAAY!!

For any beadmakers that might be reading this, Playing with Fire is an amazing place to take a class at. Ed and Virginia were extremely nice as were the students. Everyone was so helpful and we got to try some different torches and glass. Also it was right by the ocean which was really neat.

I started this morning and plan to have it done by the end of the month. Once we get back from the class we are going to purchase a respirator or two to allow us to finish part of the tutorial. If all goes well then maybe will release it sometime next week :) It will be selling on our Etsy shop once it is complete! I am excited to make my first tutorial and depending on how that one does I have a few more that I already have plans for :D

Also three days till the Pipyr class!!! We should have stuff from the first day when we get back but we will have to wait for the second day project to be mailed. So Sunday or Monday I will post pictures from the first day. We had a boro day a few days ago and tried some all glass rings, some came out ok so might post some pictures of that before we leave for the class. Thursday will also probably be a boro day to get ready for the class :)

Possomy was spotted last night walking by the back porch. We have not seen him since one of our walks when we found out he commutes around the neighborhood. Not as much racoon sightings but I got a picture through the window (very dark) of two eatting together a few nights ago that I will upload later. Lots of boro clear and some very nice colors. We are down one concentrator so it is very slow to melt the glass but still made a bunch of marbles and pendants. I will post pictures this weekend maybe, haven't felt the greatest so been just relaxing today. Andrea and I may be taking a glass in Maine with Pipyr on Nov 14 & 15! It is a boro sculpture class which is more of what I want to get into doing fulltime by the beginning of '09 along with marbles, pendants and beads with boro. Anywho I will post pictures later.
